***March 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

@Hawkace

And about the word “being” being in the answer, being is a word, and does have correct uses. I have seen many questions that correctly use it.

For the olfactory sensing question, the second passage was actually mocking the first passage?

@Kang1289 that’s what I put.

Why are you guys acting like ■■■■■■■ @Hawkace is right, had followed by had may not have been totally correct but compared to the other answer choices it was definitely the BEST choice, and as for Montenegro being was incorrect it always is thats just like a thumbs of rule for SAT if it has being 99% chance its incorrect

could anyone make a consolidated list !!

Which essay topic did you guys get?

Was the answer buzzing of the molecules of smell of anise?

I also thought that “being” choice was wrong, there was a better choice

No, being was used correctly. I agree with foolish

What was the math experimental? I had 4 math sections with one free response. There was a section with 16 math questions and it had something to do with a circle with two triangles in it. Was that the experimental?

Also i had no questions dealing with planets but i know for sure i had a math experimental. So could there have been different math experimentals for different tests?

So, what was the main idea of the article for Elijah? Chain of explanation?

@MovingToTexas

I said buzzing of molecules because the theory was never truly proved and the guy said the proof of it was very subjective.

It could be anise because of its subjective nature, but did the passage say that only one person said it smelled like anise? I know it said it for the first guy but the anise was a different scientist. It never really specified how he determined it to smell like anise while the buzzing of molecules being false is overall what the other passage tried to say by calling the evidence behind it shaky at best.

What was the math experimental?

I will say it one last time. @hawkace and I are right. sorry not sorry. It couldn’t be being because it referred back to the twentieth century. Also like it was said before gerunds are rarely correct, especially in improving sentences

Nah foolish is right

@mdog The math section with the 2 triangles and a circle is not the math experimental.

I had a writing experimental so I don’t know.

Phen, what is right then?

those are the two passages for the smell thing by the way.

Guys, there was a better answer than “being”. I believed that it was E not A.
