I am actually a bit disappointed because I got a 32 on my ACT, so I am confused as to how I could technically get a “30” after I already got a 32…
SAT: 1520 (99%/99%), R&W: 740 (99%/98%), M: 780 (99%/98%)
Can anyone say how they did compared to the 4 official practice tests?
So no one else is experiencing a delay? Hope that the scores are not delayed bc she already took the school day exam and don’t want to book the June test unless this one is quite off-target.
I’m confused because I got a 1390, and my percentile is 95th which would equate to a 2080-2090, but the scale is saying my score is only a 1980?
@1zogden1 this was equal to my best practice test and I overperformed in reading.
I think there’s a general consensus that the score converter might be underestimating scores a little, but we just have to wait and see if CB changes it.
This concordance table was a huge marketing mistake for CB; the loyal SAT takers might even switch to ACT now.
I assumed the scale was just 1.5. The test did not seem easier, I just prepared for it. So by 1.5, I mean a 1400 would equate to a 2100 because of the two 700s in each section. However, this concordance table is not making any sense
- Not bad but will be retaking in June. Not disappointed but not really too happy either. Could've been worse
@1zogden1 : I did about the same on the practice tests as I did on the actual SAT. Same goes for the PSAT. The four released tests were a good indicator of the March SAT.
Yikes scores are bad
@suzyQ7
same my sat score was way worse than my psat score
@HopkinsHopeful can u give me the link please?
Mine aren’t up yet. Anyone else have that problem too? Does this mean something was wrong with my test?
@mclaughlinm34 the two tests (Old and New SAT) are not even the same. You can’t equate 1400=2100 because the scoring is also different. Because the questions and penalty systems are different, the concordance table equates scores between each test to show what scores on one test equals on the other test. It does not make sense to translate one score as equal between the tests because they aren’t the same tests. The essay was included in the writing section for the Old, it’s not even mandatory for the New.
Got a 1500 would have been much more satisfied if the tables converted to a higher score.

There ya go!
1560, 770 W, 790 M, 24/24 on essay! I’m over the moon!
@vonnegut99 you’re fine for the Ivies! 1560 is about the 75th percentile score converted according to Prepscholar!!! Great Job!
Congrats to all!
I’m really disappointed with my reading subscore (and overall CR/W section). I must have missed something like ten questions on the reading portion, and I never missed more than five on practice tests. I did have some bubbling issues, so I’m wondering whether I want it handscored.
The math curve must have been terrific, though. I never would have expected the math score I got.
