I’m taking the May SAT and have been taking practice tests from the 8 Kaplan tests and have found that the English is similar in difficulty and question type as the PSAT and College Board practice tests but both math sections on the Kaplan tests seem to be much harder and different than the college board tests… Can anyone who took the SAT today who also used the Kaplan practice tests tell me how the Kaplan tests and the actual SAT compare?
@ThatSpellingGuy111 im not sure if thats the exact answer but they said probability for only the sixth row. there were 7 old chairs. thats the top part of the fraction, and the denominator is the old chairs+new chairs. What did you get?
Did anyone get the question that read something like “2x^2-4x=t, find t?” What was the answer and what other information was there in the question because that doesn’t seem like enough to find t?

I don’t think I did too well in fact I may have done worse than my practice tests. I couldn’t focus on Section 1 so I almost ran out of time and ended up rushing through the last reading section. I wasn’t able to finish the No Calculation portion, which surprised me considering the fact that I always got perfect scores on them when I practiced. The Calculator and the essay sections were fairly easy, though.

How do you think the curve will be? Which section might have the most lenient curve?
Hopefully the reading. But from what everyone has been complaining about, I’d say math no calc. I’ll admit, the time limit is harsh, but I still did well on it.
There is a separate essay score. It is not factored into the 1600.
Well, I just read many of the comments and I don’t remember any of the reading passages posted or any math problems. I am now feeling scared.
Anyone else with essay almost get the variable section? My proctor was going to administer it to us but realized her mistake… I think those without writing in my testing center all took the variable section
