March Madness Baby!

What great games today. I’m perfect today = D. As long as Xavier and AM and Duke win that is (and they seem to be doing very well).

Cornell over Kentucky? Dont count on it but it could happen. Cornell is so fun to watch this tourney.

^Yeah, Cornell is winning their games by hitting their shots. I think they have close to a 60% FG percentage in the tourney so far.

I’d be perfect today if Pitt would find away to stop Xavier.

Harambee: Are you a Sparty fan? If so, congratulations. You guys deserve it. I still want to kill Summers, though. Lol. Does he normally go off like that?

I went driving after the game to drown my sorrows. Driving always cheers me up, lol. Anyway, I was listening to the radio and this song came on: [YouTube - Puff Daddy/Faith Evans/112 - I’ll Be Missing You](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mM0-ZU8njdo)
As corny/cliche/cheesy this may sound, all I could think about was Vasquez. I started to tear up. I didn’t full on cry but my eyes were definitely wet, lol. This team means so much to me and for it to end this way just sucks. Vasquez is one of the greatest college basketball players of all time. He put up numbers that no one else in the history of college basketball ever did. I know all the Terps fans will miss you, Greivis. We love you!

Also, caught up in all this madness, was that Vasquez passed Len Bias on Maryland’s all time scoring list. Too bad he couldn’t get the win with it.

I picked Xavier over Pitt, but I already lost so…whatever.

Yup. I grew up around Michigan State’s campus and am a HUGE fan. I bleed green. But no, I haven’t seen Summers play like that in a long time. If he keeps playing like that, then we might be heading to Indianapolis

He really is a great player. I believe that he’s the only player in ACC history with totals of at least 2,000 points, 700 assists, and 600 rebounds.

Terrible production by CBS there, showing Cal-Duke until the very end then missing the finish of Pitt-Xavier. SHOW THE GAMES THAT ARE CLOSE

^I know right? I had to watch the finish on MMOD

Apparently the Aggies can’t ‘Gig’ a crappy Hummel-less Purdue team.

Damn. I had A&M beating Duke. Oh well. Just goes along with the rest of my crappy bracket.

CBS is terrible at showing games; they showed the 2nd half of wisconsin/cornell when cornell was up by 20 instead of UMD/MSU.

^In fairness, the MSU/UMD game wasn’t really in jeopardy until about the last 1:30.

Is UCLA still in the “tourney.” I haven’t kept that much up on the bracket–and my CBS station in my town, doesn’t air alot of the games.

^They didn’t get in the Tournament to begin with.

@Baltimoron. Thanks, man. I thought, I saw UCLA on a bracket somewhere.

maybe the NIT bmsa?

Baltimoron- well put lol. Still though i would have rather seen that than cornell/wisconsin.

The Purdue game was intense. I didn’t pick them to win, but I’m a huge fan. So I’m happy. :]

I love Purdue’s will power. I have them in the sweet 16, but no way they can handle duke with or without hummel.

^Yeah, exactly. Duke hasn’t really been challenged at all in the tourney.

@Youwiththeface: Boiler Up! Congrats on the win. I don’t know if they will be able to make the Elite 8 though w/o Hummel. I’m shocked they won today tbh. I took 'em over Siena, but to beat the Aggies?

Ugh, I got absolutely murdered by the Round of 32. Only got 8 Sweet Sixteen teams right. My only chance in my real bracket is for Kentucky to win it all and syracuse to lose to whoever makes it out of the mid-west.
