March SAT Math Thread

-1 will be 780 or 770
-2 will be 750

“1/3 < r/t < 2 is the range”

was this experimental? i dont remember it

The length of the side of the triangle was 2x

sqrt(15) was not the answer to the two circles question with a shaded area.

I think the consensus for that one is 8pi/3

@thisisauser:

Correct, but root 15 is an answer to another question.

I see

also the probability question? and the parabola question?

Sorry, thought I saw a post about root(15) being an answer to the circle problem.

I don’t remember getting root(15) at all. What was the question?/Was it experimental?

It was not experimental. I don’t remember the question. =</p>

Me neither, I don’t recall root(15) at all.

6 was the answer to the triangle made up of diameters/radiuses of tangent circles? I recall sqrt(15), but it sounds like it was experimental.

I think the sqr(15) may have been experimental. 6 was the perimeter of the triangle which crossed through the centers of the circles

2 is the answer for value of k when 2x^1/2 - x^(k-3/2) = x^1/2

omitted that one (time -.-) but got everything else right so far ;D

what would a a -4-5 be cuz I think thats about what I got. (Anyways just because everyone on hear thinks the math was easy doesn’t necessarily mean that the curve will be harsh)

24 * x = 120

x = 5

what was 2x an answer to?

Can anyone explain the one where it was root(a+b) and root3(a+b)?

“1/3 < r/t < 2 is the range”
Which question was that??

I remember:
1 - pi/2
100 + (j + k +l)/3
150 (either marbles or pencils or something…)
50 for the difference in avg students

Wasn’t the question with 88 median telling you that 88 was the median and asking for the temp on the 7th day??

also the probability question? and the parabola question? Someone please explain.

“1/3 < r/t < 2 is the range”

Which one was this?

I got 2/9 for the probability of picking a 3 from the tiles (might be experimental) and 9 for the different in perimeter between the two similar triangles (also might be experimental)

root 15 was not experimental for sure.

1/3 < r/t < 2 is the range

This is also experimental I believe.
