Same.

tanya is definitely not experimental. and im pretty sure its just I

Oh My God (doesn’t exist). Tanya is ONLY I. This has been settled.

@silenceizsik it was just I only (or II only according to some.)

It’s just I. You can only have one representation of a word in a 1:1 code.

The number for the two As had to be the same.

Does anyone know the answer to the one with how many different book combos you can make of 10 books, choosing 3?

I used my knowledge of probability and put 10 C 3 in my calculator and got 120. Can I get confirmation?

^wow, glad i didn’t get that question.

Was the one that was something like “with positive integers A, B, C, which of the following would equal A/B” experimental?
If not, I got II and III for my answer (AxC/BxC and 1/(B/A)), anyone agree?

the last 2 questions were experimental. Experimental must have been a complete hassle. Every question from there is up here.

i didnt get a book question. perhaps it was experimental? but i use the nCr function for all those problems and get them all right

In which problem did X = 65 degrees

10characters

^ was it the one with two parallel lines, if so i dont think i got 65. I cant remember any other questions with degrees

the 65 one was something where they gave you y was 130 degrees and you saw that 2x = y so x equals 65

oh right, thx

“I am 100% positive I reordered the numbers. It gave temps for 6 days, 80, 82, 83, 90, 91, 93 (something like that and not in order)”
That’s what I put too as my answer: 93. I did exactly what you did. Rearranged the temperatures in ascending order.

^I put 88 because the the following data was arranged according to the days of the week. Since the median was 88 and 88 was missing in the set, i say 88 was the seventh day.

I thought it was pretty obvious the answer was 88

^ same. I don’t understand why people had such a hard time with that question.

Neither do I sAxsKy.

DiePotatoNooo, how the hell could 93 be the median in this case? It’s not even a middle number! It’s on the freakin’ outside! Do you guys know what a median is? If not, it’s the middle number in a set of numbers. Since clearly we all need a Pre-Algebra lesson, you find median by sorting the numbers in ascending order and crossing out the farthest 1 on the left and right until you get down to the middle.

So in this case where the median is 88. [CO stands for Cross Off]: CO80, CO93, CO82, CO91, CO83, CO90…and GASP! You’ve got only the middle number left - and it’s 88!
