March SAT Math Thread

x = 3 for when f(x) * g(2) = 6

I could swear it was f(x) * g(1) = 6

and the answer I got was 2…

Vaalin- for me it was f(x)*g(6)=6, and I got 1 I believe.

it was x=3 for F(x)=6

answer was 3

answer was 3

Hmm ok. I really don’t remember now after seeing all these numbers. I think I’ve only missed two others so far…so hopefully I got this one correct.

Did anyone else have the question where you have $75 dollars and you earn $25 each week up to $250? I know it was easy, but was it experimental?

The temperature one was 88 degrees. I’m taking the liberty of re-posting the list of known answers since a lot of people are asking the same questions.

88 for median temperature
8pi/3 for the shaded region of the circle
15 ice cream possibilities
20 for the 10th term in the 3 digit question
10.6 or 53/5 for the y coordinate when the slope was 6/5
800 largest square
65 degrees value of X
x = 3 for when f(x) * g(2) = 6
1 million in profit
60 is area of triangle in cylinder
2 is the answer for value of k when 2x^1/2 - x^(k-3/2) = x^1/2
(5,0) is x-intercept of parabola
4 is absolute minimum of 3|x-4| + 2
Sqr(2) is distance between the midpoints of the two lines
20% increase on price of bagels
10r = p
K - 4 is answer for (x-4)(x+4)
11/17/23/5 for one of two positive prime numbers that add to 28

100 + (J + K + L)/3
150 coffee flavored candies
0 is difference in average students at both schools
sqr(15) is x when volume of cube is 90

UPDATE: Range question and 2X question have been removed via experimental.

No, everyone had that, answer was 7 right?

weren’t there only three squares?

^ Yes 7 confirmed

UPDATE: Range question and 2X question have been removed via experimental. Can someone please confirm if these two questions truly were experimental.

wasn’t the question like 7x+1=3. what equals 2?

so the answer was (E) 7x

i remember only three squares…

yesssss… I remember that it was 7x.
To the square problem, I got 800 regardless so…

UPDATE: Range question and 2X question have been removed via experimental. Can someone please confirm if these two questions truly were experimental.

they were experimental i did not have either :)

can somebody help me with the area of the biggest square? i think i’m kinda confused. how many squares were there and what was the length of the side that was the smallest square (the one that was inside everything)?

Does anyone remember the question where z>x and z+x=2y? That might have been experimental.

That was experimental NYEM.

what do you think the curved score is for -1 gridin and 1 omit??
