<p>hey guys, im new here and i was wondering if any of you know anything about the marching program at UW. I was in marching band freshman and sophomore years of HS. Then I became a drum major junior year. It is still me junior year, but I have moved to an area that has no marching programs. my question is, since i am unlikely to have the opportunity to march again for the next two years, how hard is it to get into the UW marching band? I was quite good, but I worry that I'll be out of practice.
Also for anyone who is in the band: what do you think of it?</p>
<p>hey, DanMarkBen! i don't know a lot about the marching band at UW, but I have a friend that wants to get into the band program. he was telling me how you get paid like maybe $200 a month or something for playing. i thought that was pretty cool. anyways, i hope you get in!</p>
