<p>Any word from any of you guys? They said decisions would be mailed out around mid-August and so far nothing yet.</p>
<p>You guys are in a lot different situation than 2 years ago when I tried out. I didn't send in my tape until September (on sax) and was still able to get in. This year sounds much different... they sent out an email saying that 80% of the band is returning, and that 100 freshmen had already tried out. I feel like in this situation, brass are going to be heavily favored. Good luck to everyone.</p>
