““Because the constitution says so” is a terrible argument”

Then why have a constitution?

That’s a rhetorical question, please don’t answer it, I don’t want to bother continuing, but I had to respond to that.

For what it’s worth, I think hunter is more likely the oldest profession, but I don’t feel like arguing that one either.

^thats why I said one of the oldest professions.

“Considering you were alive back then to prove that prostitution isn’t the oldest profession?”
If prostitution was the oldest profession, how the hell were they paid?

“Well the rules we follow in society is based on the constitution.”
So if the constitution said it was OK to steal/rape/kill you’d be fine with that?

I really want to stop posting in this thread but I can’t resist it…

Now, perfectly reasonable to say that prostitution is an old profession, and that’ll never go away (or at least I agree with it…), which is why I don’t want to argue about this. But you did call it the oldest.

It doesn’t say that. This is an absurd argument. You lose.

^agreed, or else we’d be an anarchy lol.

^^Alright, that was absurd. Let’s try something more reasonable.

What if the constitution banned alcohol? Or did not support the right of women to vote? Or allowed slavery?

It did, 18th amendment. Yes, blame the women for the mob; no joke…

^Lawl, I know. That was my point.

But hey, everybody makes mistakes, everybody has those days just kidding I hate Miley cyrus lol

“What if the constitution banned alcohol? Or did not support the right of women to vote? Or allowed slavery?”

It did. Those are things that needed to be changed, and they were. But before they were changed, they had to be followed.

And plus it didn’t really “necessarily” say that women could not vote or there could be slavery. But there were amendments that allowed them to (13th and 19th??) It’s not like they created the 3rd amendment (Yes I know what it really is) and said “Any white dude has the right to buy black people for 10 coins, yet if it is near a brothel, it’s 15” or something ■■■■■■■■.

Next month on my trip…I’m gonna try smoking hookah (aka shisha) with some of my friends :)

^Way to almost bring the thread almost back on topic…

Hookah here is expensive as hell.

^hahaha seriously, it took a big turn. From weed, to prostitution, to 2nd amendment, I’d say it’s probably QwertyKey’s fault… Just kidding.

And also worthless.

^Yeah, it was my fault… But no one seemed to care either.

Hookah is worth something if you want to smoke it…

^Thread jacking is fine. And I’d continue the argument, but I’m feeling like a bicycle at the moment.

Well maybe your tire will blow out

How old are you QwertyKey

haha yeahh I’ll be back in Dubai sometime early in July…I’m hoping it’s not too expensive over there. But I’m only gonna try smoking it once…I’ve never smoked anything in my life. Plus, I’ve heard that hookah is worse than cigarettes :/

But at least I get to choose a nice flavor? lol.
