It’s a dry campus. There are a lot of clubs & activities to get involved in. Trips to city for shows.
My daughter did an online summer pre-college class & loved it & the professors. Many schools had hiccups w/ virtual but they were on campus which is better than many schools. You can’t please everyone.
I guess it depends what you are looking for.
Can I ask how you were notified about the LSP interview? Email/phone call/ portal? My son is still waiting to hear from them He hasn’t heard if he was accepted to Marist or the LSP.
@My3sons818 He received an email with a date and time. Once confirmed they sent him the structure and the zoom information. Nearly a month since his interview and still haven’t heard. He applied EA
I applied to a number of schools and was acceptable to all of them with Scholarships. I am thankful but I am very interested in Marist. Even with the amount of merit they gave me it has the most expensive Cost of Attendance. I just sent an appeal. Has anyone been successful in obtaining a large increase in merit after an appeal?
Congrats! My daughter was accepted at Ramapo too and I think she is leaning that way as well. I thought it would definitely be Marist but money talks and with a full ride who am I to argue!

Does anyone know if Marist Honors College invites are still being sent to some students?
Hi, looks like most are EA or ED on this thread. Deferred to from EA to RD requesting mid-year grades which were sent and good. Was wondering if anyone had started to hear that applied RD. Also, I see sometimes you get an email giving you the heads up good news is coming and always the official notice in the mail. Do you always get the email first if accepted? I wish they just announced like the majority of the schools.
Just in case anyone here is eligible for the Tuition Exchange program, daughter who was admitted EA and also to Honors Program was waitlisted for Tuition Exchange. The email said they were unlikely to use the waitlist for TE. Marist is out for us, the merit scholarship wasn’t big enough to make it realistic for us. Good luck everyone!
We asked for more merit 2x & got an additional 10k from where we started. Not sure how much more you need
That’s great! Good for you! I’ll have to keep that in mind. Still waiting to hear on some other schools…
@Aimeenut - We appealed weeks ago abs still haven’t heard back. Where or how did you find out you got $?
In the portal under financials, followed by a letter
Usually takes about 2 weeks
We are in the same situation and haven’t heard yet either. The letter said mid March so hopefully soon.

We heard back and they gave him more but the money wasn’t as good as St Joseph’s Univ for example. Didn’t even come close so thinking that’s where he’s going to end up.
We got them in range where we needed to be & my daughter loves Marist. Good luck to your son
My daughter got her’s today
We received the envelope in the mail today. Anyone know how long it takes for financial aid to come? We have the CWID…is there a way we can use that ID number to make a portal or is it only good to put down the enrollment deposit? I suppose we are a bit impatient, but really want to compare DS financial package from SUNY New Paltz.
@TCA2021 there will be a log on that comes from IT. You set up the mymarist account & there you can see financials. Not sure how long it takes for that to come as we were in 1st wave of acceptances
