has anyone received an ED/EA acceptance letter yet? If so, please provide details on your GPA, SAT/ACT, Extracurriculars, Gender, Ethnicity, and Location!

do you mean class of 2018?

No word yet, my D applied EA for class of 2018 (Fall 2014 admission)

My S applied EA as well and I believe when my D applied a few years ago EA she didn’t hear until January so I think it is still too early.

i applied EA class of 2018 mid-october and haven’t heard back yet either

the website explicitly says that EA notifications will be mailed out near january 31.

Should be hearing soon! My D is wearing a path out to the mailbox with the hopes that it will arrive earlier than January 31.

So via twitter Marist said that they will be sending out Early Action Decisions no later then January 31st, but will not be sending anything out this week.

It seems from previous years that they have mailed all their letters ON the 31st, so im just hoping for the worst - which would be they send them out next Friday.

I received an email about a question on the app last week and they said 1/30. So some may receive it on 1/31.

I hope they mail it on Thurs and not Friday so most don’t have to wait the weekend assuming it takes 2 days to get to most. When you know it is on the way, the difference between Sat and Monday is huge.

That’d be great if they sent them out Thursday! - I am 45 minutes away from Marist so if they were sent out early Thursday morning there is a possibility a letter could arrive at my house Friday. I am so anxious. Marist is and has been my top choice school for years now, and it would be such an honor to be accepted!

Emailed admissions today and they said SOME letters will be sent out tomorrow!

really?!?! are theh doing batches every day

They said they will begin mailing SOME tomorrow, so I’m sure they will do it in batches for the rest of the week. They said they would send out letters Friday the very latest, so it seems like they are keeping their promise knock on wood

Marist just tweeted they are being mailed today.

Yep! It’s official! Goodluck to everyone (:

good luck to you all as well!

Deferred.

Accepted!!! hard work and persistance pays off!

From the Marist website:

The Undergraduate Admission Office mailed the Early Action Admission Decisions on Friday, January 30. The Marist Admission Office received nearly 5,000 applications for Early Action, representing a 34.9% increase over last year.

Approximately 2,000 students (approximately 40% of the applicant pool) received an offer of admission to the College.

@mballantine congrats!! what were your stats? i’m waiting for my letter :-S
