called today they told me all letters not going out till 3/30 good or bad

Thank you miesha5. Ugh!!

From the Marist twitter page this morning: Good luck to all.

Attn HS students - Decision letters are being mailed this week. Some were dropped off to USPS yesterday. The rest will be out by Friday.

Wow, deferred students please share success stories!!

no success story here but it’s fine. My son was waitlisted. was accepted to 9 out of 10 of his schools. He had dismissed Marist long ago since they said he would not hear back until April 1. He is deciding between UDel and St Joes. Good luck to everyone else out there still waiting!

My son was waitlisted too. He’s going to Stevens Institute of Technology instead. Marist was the only school out of 10 to not accept him.

it’s so funny there are some on the UD page accepted to Marist and still waiting on pins and needles for UD and the other way around as well. I’m so grateful this child of mine has made it an easy drama free process so I’ve had no worries.

I would be fine with ‘my choice’ for my S, George Mason, but he was deferred from Marist (1 of 10 that wasn’t an acceptance). I think he just needs to prove to himself he CAN gt in…

Has anyone heard of rejections yet? I heard of acceptances on Wed and wait lists on Thurs. We have not heard yet and I hope day 3 is not all rejections.

I HOPE YOUR RIGHT [-O< WAS THINKING THE SAME THING GEARD A BUNCH OF WAITLIST A FEW ACCEPTANCES NO REJECTIONS

What does a thick legal size letter mean? Received a regular legal size letter envelope but feels like more than a single piece of paper is in it. Is that a wait list? Are acceptances a large envelope vs. a legal size envelope?

my son’s waitlist letter was a legal size envelope a few sheets thick. Contained the letter, a response form for whether or not he wants to stay on the waitlist, and a return envelope.

Please open your envelopes!!! We have nothing in the mail, big or small, ugh!

I was looking at some stats and it looks like they wait list more than they accept and about 1/3 opt to stay on the wait list. It looks like they only reject about 20%. That doesn’t seem right. They may be old stats.

I would open the letter if I could but my D wants to open it.

Mrwho123, I understand!! And holding it up to the light doesn’t work so well!

Accepted today via a big envelope in the mail!

Deferred now wait listed…

One more for the deferred now wait listed camp.

the whole thing is a joke did they even take anyone? and what they drive our kids who work so hard nuts with a deferral and then wait them REALLY

Miesha5, I agree. It would be much less anguish if the rejection came. My son still has hope being wait listed. Breaks my heart to tell him to move on.
