I’ve recently received a second letter from DePaul (Chicago), and after reading up on what it meant after my first letter, I’m still a little confused. From what I’d read, you get those types of letters after you take a standardized test (SAT, ACT, etc.) and you score in an ideal range or above a certain standard for said school. However, I’m going to be a sophomore in the upcoming school year, who hasn’t taken any of those tests. Is it just DePaul’s weird marketing strategy? Otherwise, it’d make no sense for me to get such a thing, right?
