I am a junior in hs and a michigan resident. My older sister and my father both majored in marketing. My dad went to Maryland, and my sister went to Marquette. As a kid, I basically ruled businees out just to do something different. I for the past 5 years have always been planning my future as an engineering or architecture student. Now I am taking a step back as I get closer to college and am re-evaluating. I enjoy math and have done well at it thus far. I am in AP stats now as a junior and will take ap calc next year. The thing with engineering, is that I am worried about getting stuck in a whole. I don't want to end up doing a tedious job. I want to work with a team. I want to be able to use my creativity be able to have a real impact on what I am doing (don't know if that makes sense.) What do you think about marketing in my situation? Any advice?

also what is marketing like compared to
Advertising and PR major?

The market research area combines math and marketing and has better job prospects.

ok

for my situation, which would be a better major, "advertising and pr" or "general marketing", "distrobution and logistics marketing", or lastly "sales marketing"

anyone?...
