Just wondering, are Phys. Ed courses given grades, or just credit?

EDIT: Just found on the Phys. Ed website that it's pass/fail. New topic is:

Which of these Physical education courses are you going to take?

Cornell Physical Education: Course Offerings Fall 2006

There's so many ones that interest me, badminton, weight training, fencing, ballroom dancing...

I wouldn't recommend fencing. I knew someone who took it, and he said that it was pretty worthless--they didn't actually start fencing until the last week of class. I'm not exactly sure what they did for the other weeks of class, but it seems like it was pretty boring.

I've heard good things about badminton and ballroom dancing. I'd highly recommend Swedish massage...amazing. If you take the class, it'll be one of the best decisions you'll ever make at Cornell. Also, bowling is really popular; easy, low-key, and fun.

if you take swedish massage, are you the one getting massaged? B/c that would be freakin awesome!

Both--you do the massaging and get massaged. It's the best.

wahhhtt?! I was going to sign up for fencing...

Haha, well, I think the person took Renaissance fencing, so you may want to stay away from that one. The other fencing classes are probably fine and more fun. ;)

Consider snowboarding or skiing for the winter semester.
