<p>I am almost 27 mate, I am applying for PhD’s for 2011. I have one offer [Exeter], but am holding out for a few other replies before committing.</p>
<p>I have been giving this much thought. There is some obvious cultural gap between someone born/raised in the West and someone who has spent some formative years in the East. </p>
