Marshall Business Major + Comp Sci Minor vs dual degree program?

I am very interested in USC's dual "degree" program for Business Administration/Computer Science. So far, I know it's one (not two) degrees, that it is administered by the Viterbi school, and that it places a larger emphasis on computer science (correct me if I'm wrong.)

A major question for me is: will I be officially part of both Marshall and Viterbi, as in, am I eligible for resources/programs at BOTH schools? Programs like LINC, GLP, CAP are all part of Marshall, and it would be a letdown if I weren't eligible for them. Also, what are some pros and cons of doing a dual degree vs doing a major + minor? I originally planned to be a business major, and I am worried that computer science might be difficult with no background in it. Also, is it difficult to do a major and minor in four years?

Thanks, I need all the input I can get!

I’m at the USC open house currently, and I just asked them that question. You are eligible for the programs at both colleges. You can do LINC, etc.

Coltron, thank you so much!

You can pursue a major and minor in 4 years. I am currently pursuing a major and two minors.
