Hey CCers,
If you are not aware, there was a shooting at Marshall County High School in Kentucky on Tuesday. I think that we should all keep this in mind while considering our course selection and academics for the rest of this school year and the following school years. Two students died, a male and a female, and twenty were injured. I also think we should keep the victims and the victim’s family in our prayers as they cope with this traumatic situation. Thank you.
I’d like to add on to this too. There have already been 11 school shootings in 2018, and it’s only January. We should pray for all of those who were affected by these school shootings and try to prevent things like this from ever happening again. It’s tragic that school shootings have become the norm in the US to the point where Americans have become desensitized them.
I agree with everything you both said. It’s such a shame that gun domestic violence has become the norm in the United States right now, especially because domestic gun violence is so rare everywhere else. I’m hoping that one day we will find a way to prevent gun violence just like the way the other countries in the world do.
