<p>Has anyone heard anything about who is recieving money from the Maryland Distinguished Scholar award this year? I was notified last fall that I am a semifinalists been notified?</p>

<p>According to MHEC’s MDCAPS system: “MD CAPS is currently unavailable as we make awards for the 2011-2012 academic year. We anticipate the system being available again by Friday, April 29, 2011.”</p>
<p>Hopefully, you will know something soon. I’m not sure if they notify semi-finalists right away, or if they have to go through the finalists first. It might depend on how much funding (if any) they have. Good luck!</p>
