<p>I absolutely loved it when I visited :) Why is it so "unknown"?</p>
<p>I don't think it's unknown among pharmacy students, there just aren't that many kids posting on CC who are looking at doing a 0-6 program right out of HS! They didn't tell you there average acceptances when you visited? It looks like they have an acceptance rate around 67% with mid range scores of 500 cr/550m/520w or 21-25 ACT. I think this is generally true as the kids I know of who applied there were all accepted, although they weren't accepted at some of the other 0-6 programs in the region, including Albany's.</p>
<p>MCPHS-Boston is on my D's list for next year, though she hasn't visited yet. Would you mind telling us about your visit and what you loved, or didn't like, about it? Thanks!</p>
<p>I often wonder why MCPHS is so unknown too. It really is a good school so I'm not sure why theres not much discussion about it on here. I applied there early, they mailed their decisions out today so we should receive them by tuesday or wed. at the latest. I went to the open house in November. It was really a beautiful place. It isn't really like a traditional college, but I think it's something I would really like once I attend. Well good luck to both of you, hopefully we will all get in :-)</p>
<p>My daughter was accepted there last year. She got a nice merit scholarship offer too. I also don't think it is really unknown, just not completely on the radar here on CC.
She really liked it there ( got accepted as pre-med ) but decided to go with her #1 choice instead.
The dorms are some of the nicest we have seen. What she didn't feel very comfortable with was the suitcase school feeling there. Other than that, it was her #2 choice .
We happened to visit suring a snowstorm , and there was something very nice about being in one building !!</p>
<p>do you know the stats only for the pharmacy program. Like the gpa/sat scores and if that is what they base there decision on? Thx</p>
