lol that’s nothing.

no school tomorrow!!! oh yeeeeahhhh

We got about 15 inches. :] And icy roads.

No school tomorrow!!! It’s break.

No school tomorrow! Getting off on Wed.!

No school tomorrow!! It’s break! yep yep!

I live in NYC. There is never no school for me I don’t want to walk in the snow tomorrow.

I cannot sleep At least I’m not in school tomorrow.

Don’t even complain. There are two or three storms EVERY YEAR in Minnesota/Dakotas, not to mention like 8 a year in Colorado. Whopee, the east coast got some real snow for once. Guess what, it happens all the time across the country, but since it is on the coast it get a lot of news coverage. Get over youselves and go to school.

I’m not complaining! I love the snow! I’m glad we had the blizzard, except for the fact that there were so many accidents.

School was canceled today because road condition are bad, and still are. Hoping that maybe tomorrow it would be delayed so I have more study time to prep for all my test tomorrow!

@jkaufman: Well obviously it’s going to be big news here if we’re not used to getting snow like that, especially in December. If we rarely get storms this big, how do you expect us to be prepared for them as if they happen often? It might be a normal occurrence in the Minnesota/the Dakotas, but evidently not here. You guys have much better infrastructure to deal with snowstorms like this, while we’re not prepared on the same level. And the media coverage…well, come on, there’s a lot more going in the East Coast where the storm hit (New York City, Philly, Washington DC) than there is in Minnesota.

^too long for me to read,lol :P

You are aware that we got the same storm as you guys a week ago in the Midwest right? It hit Minnesota, Wisconsin, etc. just as hard as the east coast and there is no 8 page thread complaining about that.

It’s still cold here though. Some people said it’s starting to warm up, but the snow here has yet to melt.

Again, you guys get a lot of snow compared to us. We’ve been getting hardly ANY snow at all the past few years, so it was a big surprise to suddenly get a huge storm that brought us 20+ inches of snow, especially before the official start of winter. And again, no one really cares about Minnesota/Wisconsin whereas the East Coast has a lot more people and many important big cities. I don’t mean that in a rude way at all, but it’s true…

lol nobody cares about the Midwest or Minnesota. You guys are irrelevant to the rest of the country. Please go cry in your corn fields and leave this thread alone. Thanks.

I loved this storm, got 20 inches in Maryland. I hope I enjoyed the snow more while it was snowing. When I go out it’s white mountains all around. Only bad thing is that all my plans got cancelled and I was stuck home for 3 days but it’s aight

L0L @ above.

It’s all melting >=O I still have 3-4inches on my deck only a few on the grass.

:[ the melting is the worst part, because it gets into ice chip things that are all brown with road dirt/salt.

I know =
