I was recently accepted to both BU and BC. I know both are pretty good schools and BC has quite an edge as far as prestige goes, but I still can't make a solid decision. Right now, I'm leaning towards BC, but I don't know which for me is a better fit academically, socially and the whole shabang. Anybody have any comments on what they've heard so far or what I've heard, or which is a better fit for me, or if you have your own story/choice, or anything else, I'd really appreciate it:
BC Pros:
-great Div I athletics
-great professors
-beautiful campus
-prestige
-easier to find a job once out of college (strong alumni network)
-nicer dorms
-lively social scene
-tailgating
-school spirit/ strong community atmosphere
-nice, polite people
-Lots of clubs to join
-A few minutes from Boston on the T
BC Cons:
-spoiled rich kid's safety schools
-preppy/clique-y social life
-at times, isn't academically challenging enough
-pretty much no diversity
-annoying core curriculum
-like another four years of high school in some ways
-very conservative administration

BU Pros:
-located right in the best college town on earth-lots to do
-There is some grass and campus, (but its a city campus, not
suburban)
-great for sciences (saw science buildings/labs, seemed very
nice)
-great hockey team (I looooove hockey)
-Very diverse (although there are huge numbers of Asian kids
crawling all over the place)
-Big college with a lot of resources (though you've got to seek
them out if you want them)
-More individual social scene, its what you make of it
-Big school-meet a ton of interesting people, your bound to find
your niche
-$100 million athletic facilty (that thing is disgusting (good
disgusting)) and brand new Agganis Arena
BU Cons:
-Walking, walking, walking..... (I'm not lazy, but I mean the tour
was miles of walking freezing my ass off)
-Less prestige
-Some bad professors (some can't even speak english too well)
-grade deflation (makes transferring out harder, brings down GPA)
-prison-like dorm rooms
-no football team (not a big deal, but...)
-no school spirit, except on hockey game days
-Sucks to B.U.-a lot of people who go there aren't to crazy
about it/ don't like it for one reason or another

Close to last but not least:
I'm lookin for a place that will fit me well, so here's a little about me in no particular order. I'm not rich-kinda mid middle-classish lol- and I pretty much only wear clothers from Kohls-no popped collars, I'm shy and a little weird/different and am nervous about making friends in college, I drink some, but I think I'd get tired with drinking all the time after a little while, I wanna major in a science, probably Biology, quality academics are really important to me and I want to leave a much more intelligent/knowledgeable person, wasn't really into clubs/school spirit, but I could see myself getting into that kinda stuff in college, I wanna meet new people from different walks of life, I didn't really like high school socially at all, I don't like taking classes that I'm forced to take, I probably will want to study abroad/travel during my college experience, I wanna get a good, nice paying job (but not sure what I wanna be)- I probably want to go to graduate school, not interested in law school, rich people and really smart(i mean in-your-face-smart) people **** me off- I like poorer, down-to-earth people, money isn't as important in choosing a school as choosing the right fit is- BC:$25,000, BU:$34,000, both not counting federal aid/loans......

Last but definately not least:
I really don't give a shiz about grammer/spelling, so don't post anything about that on this thread you bastards-and yes, I just spelled definitely wrong to **** you off)
