Master's degree in Europe after a North American Bachelor's degree?

I’m from Europe but study in Canada and I’m in my third year, starting the last year in September. I never studied in Europe and moved to Canada because I love North America but tbh I don’t think I want to stay in the long run. I want to get a Master’s degree in Europe and it has to be in German or English, because I don’t speak any other languages on that level, so France, Sweden, Italy etc are unfortunately already excluded. Also, my Bachelor’s degree here in Canada will (hopefully) be an honours degree, maybe that helps with acceptance/accreditation at European Universities. My friends at home always make fun of North American degrees and how they are easier and worth less. I know this is just joking but is it true, although a Bachelor’s degree in North America takes longer? Are North American (in my case Canadian) Bachelor’s degrees generally accepted to get into a Master’s degree program in Europe, without having to retake an entire year or so?Thank you

Yes, NA degrees are accepted as equivalent. Your odds on admission to any given Masters program will depend on your marks/LoR/statement of purpose. The criteria will vary depending on the field. Also, many Masters programs are taught in English, including some in France /Sweden/etc. Go talk to your advisor- who will (surprise) be much better informed than students who rubbish all of the universities across an entire continent.
