<p>Overkill…you only need one or the other. If you wanted to have a more technical emphasis in your graduate work, just make your MBA emphasis or Engineering Management emphasis a set of technical courses. Information systems and operations research are good technical areas for either degree.</p>

<p>Depends on whether you are doing it because it is easy to complete while still doing undergrad. If you are enrolling in masters after completing engineering, then it is not worth trying to do both MS and MBA.</p>
