Masters in Health Administration

Hi seniors and fellow colleagues,
I am attending Master’s in Health Administration course in spring 2017 in US.
I want to utilize the time which I have till January 2017.
Can someone please let me know some certificate online courses which will compliment my future studies.

Thank you
Regards

@juillet could you please guide. I’ll be grateful!

Are you already in to a MHA program that starts spring 2017? I don’t think you need to take any online certificate courses. They’re expensive, and unless you have something specific to do that you target your certificate at, they maybe aren’t the best use of your time and money. The best thing to do would be to take one or two classes that you could transfer into the MHA program you plan to attend.

If you really want to take some, I’d suggest one in business (finance, accounting, or management) or public health or statistics. Harvard Extension has a bunch in business that could be useful for an MHA. UNC has one in core public health concepts that is fully online and one in public health leadership that requires some campus visits. Johns Hopkins has a lot, including one in Public Health Practice, one in Quant Methods in Public Health and one that’s a Training Cert in PH. UW has a lot of completely online certificates in a variety of areas.

Thanks a lot @juillet for sharing wonderful information, I am looking for an online course which may prove beneficial in my career prospects. I have been accepted into MHA and would be attending TWU institute of Health Sciences- Houston in Spring 2017. Could you please comment on the job prospects after I complete my degree (globally).
