Masters (MHA/MBA) A&M vs UNT vs UTA

Obviously A&M is the better school listed above but the degrees offered at the schools differ, not a huge difference but they do.

UNT- Masters in Healthcare Administration
UTA- Dual Degree (MBA and a BS in Bio) 5 year program
A&M- Masters in Healthcare Administration, through the School of Public Rural Health

UNT is a basic MHA like most other schools, UTA is a MBA with a background in Biology and it allows you take classes that count toward both degrees at the same team, it supposedly allows you to finish better and take less undergrad creds. Then A&M apparently is through Rural Health (I have yet to receive a response on the details though)

I am transferring to either UTA or UNT to finish my BS, I was at a community college for two years so my question for you is where should I go to complete the masters part of it. I like the Dual Degree but I am not crazy about the city of Arlington. Any help or suggestions is much appreciated.

I know this is old, but in case you are still around, the MHA at UNT-HSC is not yet CAHME accredited where A&M’s is.

Save for the dual degree, master’s degrees are separate programs. There’s no reason why you would have to get your bachelor’s from UNT or A&M just because you want to eventually earn your master’s at one of those schools.

Focus on the school that will do the best job of helping you complete your BS first, then worry about grad school.
