<p>I went to Michigan State University, and graduated with a 3.71 in electrical engineering. I also failed a class along the way, but I retook it and got a 4 point.</p>
<p>I have no research or experience whatsoever, which will get in my way I guess. However, I knew someone who said he got his master's at the University of Iowa and got admitted into a PhD program at MIT. Is this likely? What should I do?</p>
