Match me with some schools? Need more matches/safeties

My stats:

-Female, White
SAT: CR: 720, M: 770, W: 760 total: 2250
I'm retaking for critical reading, as my PSAT was an 80. Math is a possible 800.
SAT II: Math II: 760 (retaking for an 800), Math I: 790, Physics: 780
AP: Physics B-5, Spanish-5, Lit-5 (took more than anyone in my grade, we don't have ap spanish at my school and I'm a non-native speaker)
GPA: 96.6/100, but that's cause my average freshman year was like a low A-. Since then I've had nearly straight A+s

Awards: Won the best in math award 2 years in a row for my school, Bausch and Lomb science award, Wellesley book award, national merit semifinalist probably, ap scholar, CAPT advanced scholar (it's a CT thing)

Theater: been very involved 9-12, lighting operator 10-11, stage manager 12, technical director 12, run many plays with leadership positions and participated in many community theater events as well, run tech for some famous dance groups before (Pilobolus, Momix)

Robotics: been with the team since it started in grade 10, 1st in state and innovate award that year, 7th in state next year, I'm the coach, head of communications, co-running the team pretty much in grade 12

Art: I've had my stuff in a few local art shows and won awards, I've volunteered 800+ hours at a nonprofit art studio. A lot of it is building and structural and problem-solving oriented. I have a high leadership paid position now co-running their fine arts camp, which involves lots of organization and leadership, more so than actual art skill. Also I'm a pro face painter which I think is kind of awesome.

Also in the NHS, done lots of math and science tutoring, taught the math class a couple times while the teacher was out (she loves me), doing physics olympics this year. Also done some summer engineeringy camps at universities but nothing selective

SO, NOW THAT THAT'S ALL OUT OF THE WAY:

My list of schools is a bit ambitious, especially because there aren't many math and science activities in my area to get involved with. I do stuff like build telescopes and watch ted talks but that's pretty much it, I live in the middle of nowhere. Basically, I have a lot of reaches, and need more safeties and matches for engineering.

CRAZY REACH NO WAY I'LL GET IN:
-MIT
-Caltech
-Stanford

LOW REACH aka it's possible but who knows:
-Cornell engineering (I'm a legacy at Cornell)
-Olin (I love this adorable school I would be so happy)
-Carnegie Mellon
-Lehigh

Match:
-U Rochester (have a waived application fee and possible scholarship because of Bausch and Lomb award)
-RPI

Safety:
-NC State

Does anyone else have other safety/match schools for me, based on my stats? Thoughts about my application?

Most of the [Association of Independent Technological Universities: AITU](http://theaitu.org) schools besides the ones you mentioned already would be match or safety. At my school, IIT, you would probably be considered for a [Camras Scholarship](http://www.iit.edu/undergrad-admission/cost/scholarships-camras-scholars.shtml)

I don’t know much about Lehigh (maybe others can comment). I would have thought of it as a Match.

Yes, Olin sounds ideal for you. (I read your post in College threads). Also look at Rose-Hullman and Harvey Mudd… if you want more Reaches.

Since you listed RPI, I assume you are ok with a more traditional engineering school. What about WPI? Clarkson? RIT? I think you’d qualify for merit scholarships.

I’ll bet you’d get a great scholarship at Ohio State University.

Harvey Mudd College would be a low reach, also. But, if you like Olin, Mudd has a similar approach. Big advantage to Mudd is the Claremont college consortium.

Rose(-Hulman) would be more of a match. My S was admitted with a merit award with lower stats and its still a bit easier for females in engineering.

If you want a SMALL school, another reach might be Cooper Union. They have very good programs in both engineering and art.

Of course if you want a safety - there’s always Bama - with your stats you’d definitely get full tutition + $2500 per year from the engineering deparment. NMF would get you money for travel abroad, at least one year of housing, and a laptop/ipad.

The University of Alabama at Huntsville might be a good safety for you. Your SAT score would give you full tuition + room and board for four years. Also although the ranking isn’t great, USA today has them ranked #89 on best engineering schools, but #43 on aerospace/aeronautical. It’s also right next to NASA if you’re interested in that.

Look into Purdue (West Lafayette campus)?

I see that you have Rochester as one of your schools. I will say, if you think optical engineering would interest you I would put down the University of Arizona. I may be biased, (being a Wildcat myself) but between Rochester and Arizona, I think the U of A has the better optical engineering program. You would get into U of A no problem. Not to mention, you can’t beat the weather!
