If you don't get in to penn, where do you think you will probably end up

Michigan, 98%.

Emory University

Yale, if my plans go well; if not Columbia

rice university in texas :))

Harvard, Yale, Columbia, or Georgetown

^^None of these seem like "match" schools.

Probably Lehigh.. maybe Tufts

mcgill :( .

Is there anyone else who has Penn above all of the rest... and can't even think of going to their "match" schools. lol. Friday could be veryyyy bad for me..

Of course it's above the rest. I applied ED.

haha, no I knew that. But a lot of my friends applied to schools ED and have schools they'll be fine (although sad about their first choice) going to if they get rejected. I have Penn, major, major gap, other schools

Of course I'd be happy wherever I end up; Penn's just my first choice.

I'll be angry that I didn't get in because I'll have to send in a bunch of applications, waste a bunch of my parents money, and suffer a bunch of anxiety waiting for them to return. And that I didn't get into Penn, but nowhere I'm applying is "bad," so that shouldn't be too big of a problem.

Yeah my situation is different. My parents were very controlling over where I applied, so Penn is basically "my" school. It took so much to get them to let me apply ED, and if I don't get in.. it's back to their schools..

Columbia, Cornell, NYU, Maryland Honors

Cornell, Georgetown, or Johns Hopkins hopefully.

probably cornell... even though it is so not me. Penn is me.

laurgirl220: All my dad cares about is Columbia, because we have family there. But he didn't force it on me, and it's still probably my second or third choice. So I guess I'm lucky.

Columbia is another school I really liked, although I'm not applying. Best wishes with Columbia if you don't get into Penn :-)

well if i dont get in then ill apply to dartmouth and berkeley. Hopefully one will accept me out of the three.
