Match these dreams with the appropriate career.

Complete connoisseurship. Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Porsches, Aston Martins. A collection of Swiss watches including Patek Philippe, Jaeger LeCoultre, and Audemars Piguet. Fine suits. Five-star hotel rooms. Private jets. Impressive real-estate. And last but not least, boats & hoes.

Note: I don't want things like that in a status-symbol kind of way, watches and cars are my hobbies and I love wearing suits. I have also seen some damn nice hotels and thought "It would be great if I could afford that." As for private jets, it would be a hell of a lot more comfortable then public flying! And everyone loves an awesome house. I also like my women younger than me, shallow, and with augmented breasts. Don't judge!

Don't say you don't wish you had these things. Don't call me a doushebag either, because everyone wishes that they were the target demographic for Robb Report. Yeah, I know most people that can achieve material success like this in life are rappers and other people that just got lucky, or Justin Bieber. Everyone else has to "slave away, another piece of the machine."

Basically what I am asking is what career makes the most money. If you want to say anything negative, or say that it's not possible:
1. Don't comment.
2. Why does Robb Report exist? I've been watching those rich fat men and their trophy wives driving expensive cars on the website lately, and finally, after so many years of living in reality, I realized it is okay to dream.

I thought I finally found out with investment banking, but apparently, according to people like the M&I guy and whoever put that Deutsche Bank propaganda on YouTube, the money is not all it is cracked up to be.

Be scion of legit money - billion/multi-hundred million inheritance?

Become a trader, don’t make any mistakes, get lucky.

Start your own successful company.

Since you are a freshman/sophomore in high school (LOL) and seems to be fixated completely on money, I don’t think any of these careers will work out for you.

go play some basketball or something

I bent my wookie!

The world is not as mushy and nice and “never go to work a single day” as everyone thinks it is.

Shouldn’t you know about making loads of money and then talking about it?

I know about doing what I enjoy most. That is business. I love it. I wouldn’t do anything else. Even in the Army my job was to cut deals, add value, harvest, and share the benefits

Things are important but they don’t bring happiness for me. If I die tomorrow I have a greater legacy to leave behind. Having improved the lives of thousands, perhaps millions; and having helped lay the foundation for prosperity for many generations beyond any human memory of me. The positive impact of my presence will have crossed time and space.

‘Having improved the lives of thousands, perhaps millions; and having helped lay the foundation for prosperity for many generations beyond any human memory of me. The positive impact of my presence will have crossed time and space.’

PLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPLOITS

There is no way you can afford to maintain this type of lifestyle unless you have your own successful business. Even if you have an amazing year as a trader and you get a 50 million dollar bonus, at end of the year half of that is gone because of tax. You can’t afford to maintain a Jet with 25 mil.

With that being said, if you want a Ferrari, suits or stay at nice hotels, you can easily experience that lifestyle making 4-500k a year.

Find a way to biologically prove that you are Hugh Hefner’s long lost son. And then wait for him to die.

Meh, I didn’t really care about the jet anyways. But what careers match this 4-500k a year range (or more) ?

Take on very risky investments (speculative real estate/stocks/purchase a failing company)

Start a franchise - not totally sure what I mean by this, but multiple successful sources of income

It is important to know that for that type of lifestyle, no “salaried” job will provide that compensation. You have to be a major stockholder or inherit a ton of money

Heart surgeon or partner in some big law firm.

Dude, you can make 400-500K doing almost anything you want - provided that you are really, really good at what you do.

Not really applicable unless what you want to do is extremely lucrative. For example, if what I wanted to do was nothing, I couldn’t make 400-500k. If what I wanted to do was deal drugs, then that 400-500k range would be possible.

This thread reminds me off a clip of Wall Street Warriors I watched when a bunch of traders were seated at a table talking about how much ‘**** You’ money they would want to have before being able to bum off for the rest of their lives.

^ every time I open this thread a little more of my life is wasted away for ever…

^ well then you better go back to improving millions of people’s lives in a way that will be remembered for generations to come while transcending time and space, right?

a professional, top of the class, do-nothing-er such as Jerry Seinfeld can turn “nothing” into a successful TV show and make millions. BAM

Right HARRRR. I was just telling the truth. I was in Army Special Operations in Civil Affairs for 8 years (Airborne and French Linguist). I have one deployment where I assisted in the establishment of agriculture co-ops giving farmers greater bargaining power when they brought their goods to the international market. I also liaised with NGO’s as they entered our area of operations and coordinated civil-military operations and humanitarian assistance. I did over 10 year in business development in Philadelphia and overseas. In one deal I oversaw financial operations for a Pre, and Post deal merger. I created a multinational financial department from scratch in a foreign country. I own a Registered Investment Advisory company I founded and built from scratch. I secured contracts with investment banks and private equities to originate leveraged finance deals, package those deals and, at times, take equity positions in those deals. I negotiated and coordinated finance syndicates for small and medium business finance in emerging and developed markets. Yes HARRRR I have every right to claim that I have improved the lives of thousands maybe millions. I’ve saved lives in warfare., and I’ve employed thousands in business… I am the s**t. What have you done that you feel you can mock me?

Fine, you’re the shiit. Please forgive my insolence as I beg for mercy.

You confirmed my initial thoughts. I now know what kind of a person you are.
