@collegemoneyman will definitely let you know. we are going for an admitted student visit in February and may wait until then to test the waters. not feeling very confident but worth a shot. Pitt and Ohio State I think are still the favorites but we all loved Duquesne.

So did anyones aid go up?
We were surprised that our FA package included a $3,000 grant from the school (in addition to the merit scholarship), but the final cost was still more than the school my D ultimately chose.
I am pretty sure they under enrolled this time around due to the courting after the 5/1/15 deadline … I think their lack of merit money was the culprit … And I bet they will be more generous next year … I am an Alumi and my daughter decided to go elsewhere and I supported her decision … She is going to a more expensive college but still cheaper then DUQ when her merit award was given by both and it ranks higher in her major.
Like I said they did offer us $23k in merit and institutional grant aid. I thought it was more generous than what I had heard from others in previous years.
I can reiterate that comment. They have raised tuition over 18 percent in last 3 years but the merit ceiling of 20k has not moved in almost five years.
