I remember reading somewhere that admissions only asks for one test - if we took both, may we submit both?

I suppose you could submit both, but I don’t think there is much reason to. You cannot, however, use only Math 1 and Math 2 to satisfy the two subject test requirement

which is better

I submitted both. If I were you, I would submit Math 2. It’s more advanced and looks better. In addition, a lot of colleges only accept/prefer Math 2. But then again, it depends on what programs you’re applying for. If you’re going to Engineering, then Math 2 for sure! If you would like to study English, then Math 1 is fine. Also depends on what scores you got. A 500 on Math 2 is not better than a 780 on Math 1. Hope this sorta helps!

You want colleges to think that you challenge yourself, submitting Math 2 would show you have a stronger interest in the mathematics field. However, submit with caution, as a higher score in Math 2 might not necessarily place you in a higher percentage than a lower score in Math 1. Depends on you.
