I saw on the pre-requisites that they recommend scoring a 4 or 5 on calc BC exam before even taking this course. I only took the calc 1 AP exam in high school, and took the class again as a first year student. Now, I'm looking to take calc 2 & I heard the curve is better on an honors class, but I certainly don't want to take it if I'll be competing with students who have already had calc 2 in high school and pretty much aced the AP exam.
Is honors calc 2 more or less doable (e.g. possible to achieve an A or high B with lots of work) than regular math 116?

You should be fine. Most in it have only taken Calc AB in high school.

However, I’ve heard it’s become harder in the past couple of years than it was before, to be on par with the difficulty of 116.

heard it was a really bad class to take
