My orientation is early June.
AP scores come out mid-summer, after orientation.
I took AP Calc AB and pretty confident I got at least a 4.
I want to take Math 116, but it says 115 is a recommended prereq.
Can I still sign up w/o the credit yet b/c it's only recommended?

Yeah, you can sign up for Math 116 because it’s not an enforced prereq.

I would probably still go for 115 though. But both classes are weeder because of the way they’re structured. Everything depends on the curve and how the rest of the class does. It makes the exams vary in difficulty.

For example, one exam had an average of like 80%, so the one after that was made extremely hard. The final for Fall 2011 had like a 49% average, so getting like 65% pretty much meant that u got an A on the test.

U just gotta be smarter than the rest of the class I guess…

The thing is that I’m applying to Ross so I want to show a rigorous schedule. I might not be the best with math but I’m planning on studying calc 1 & 2 over the summer so I grasp the material better come fall semester.
