Has anyone or anyone you know taken Math 186 (Honors calc 2)? Is it much harder than just 116? How is the class and work load?

I can’t speak from first hand experience but I heard calc 2 is a real b*tch. My friend got like a 37 or something and it was curved to a B or B-.

You can look @ previous exam scales.
([Math 116/Past Exams/](http://www.math.lsa.umich.edu/courses/116/Exams/index.html))

You could always take Math 186 and drop it if you don’t like and switch to Math 116

I recommend everyone to take Calc II honors, whether applied (156) or theoretical (186). Both are simply easier to get the grade and more personal. Math 116 is simply a weeder course.

Does anyone know a place where I could get the old exams for 186 with the grades/ curves? This is possible for 115/116, but I can’t seem to find it for 186.
