the 21 series doesn't even sound that bad. all i hear is ppl saying how hard it seems.

At orientation they just about guaranteed everyone that there were holes in their math education as opposed to what would be covered by the 21 series at UC Davis.

if i got a 5 on the Calc BC test, should i take 21C or should i start in 21B? you guys are making the 21 series seem so hard.

My son got a 5 on BC and at orientation the leaders still said everyone, even people with a 4 or 5 on the BC should start over in the 21 series.

...welcome back Differentiation calculus..

21B all the way! :)

collegemom16: i think they say that just as a formality to make sure everybody is on the same page. for me, 21a was pretty useless, and i wish i would've placed out of it-- i already knew differentiation like the back of my hand.

if you think you know the topics covered in 21a well enough to be able to reverse-engineer and do integrals, i say take 21b and give yourself a challenge.
