Math 31B and Chem20B?

So I'm going to enroll in those two classes on my first class, Chem20B with Tolbert (because people say that Neuhauser is worse) and Math 31B. Originally, I wanted to take Math 31B with Dearicott, but my friends say that he does little beyond proofs or something. Anyways, it looks like I'm either going to take Watson or Curran for Math 31B. The problem with Watson is that I'd end up taking a math and chem final on Friday with thirty minutes between. Is that doable? No one's giving me any info about Curran, but his final would be on another day.

Any advice? Collegeconfidential hasn't failed me yet. Please and thank you's!

honestly it depends on you. no one knows how much you can handle.
Many people here have had same day finals and done well, but it IS stressful.

pending another poster’s insights on the teachers, why not just take Curran?

Disclaimer: IMO, I’d definitely take a same day final if I knew it was an easier teacher.

Good luck!

Only thing I can really say is know your habits. If you normally cram the night before, you can bet that there’s one final you’re not gonna study for if you have two finals on the same day. I know I’ve probably lost a couple of years of my life due to having several midterms on the same day.

Hmmm. I’ll probably take Curran. He’s new though and no one really knows how he teaches. Oh well. sigh
