Okay, so there's only one Math 32B class which happens to be closed. Counselor says that I can just take Math 33A for this fall, and then go back to take 32B.

There's two Math 33A classes, but for some reason the 9AM one is closed despite only having 124/180 enrolled.

Or I can fall behind on my math schedule and take Chem 30B, and I'm already ahead in terms of my chem schedule.

Take 33A. You are nowhere “behind” on math. Many incoming students start with 31A…You can begin taking 33A…You’re basically a year ahead of math required.

I thought 33A was one of the easier math classes (I thought it was definitely easier than 32B). More importantly, nothing (or very little) that you learn in 32B is used in 33A, so you can take 33A before 32B and still be perfectly caught up in the class.

The math department has already annoyed me quite a bit, and the quarter isn’t even starting for months.

I need to take EE 1 in lieu of Phys 1C; it lists 32B as a requisite (not enforced, and no “pre-” or “co-”) but I’ve only managed to enroll in 33A. Am I gonna have problems in EE 1? :/
