Math 53 and 54 in 1 Semester. Doable?

I was thinking of taking both Math 53 and 54 in the fall. Aiming for about 16-18 units of classes total: 53 and 54, 1 lit breadth req class and and an upper div econ class (havent figured out what the last 2 will be). Any ideas on whether this is doable (aiming for at least an A- in both 53/54)?

I did Math 1A last semester with Prof Harrison and am currently taking Math 1B with Prof Aganagic. Didnt have much trouble with 1A, and 1B is fine so far. But both Professors seem to give much easier midterms than others so I'm not sure if my performance in 1A/B would be a good indicator of how I will fare in 53/54. These are the only 2 technical classes I intend to take next semester so that should leave me with more time to focus on them.

Anyone who has done 53 and 54 before have any ideas on whether it's possible to take both in 1 semester and still do well?

It’s possible. Learn what the subjects are about.

It’s doable. Don’t underestimate that literature class though, especially if writing isn’t your thing.
