<p>Is the class and teacher really as difficult as students have said on ratemyprofessors.com , or are people exaggerating? I don't know whether I should play it safe and take math 1b over, or stretch out of my comfort zone and take math 53 with Givental.</p>
<p>don't do it. his accent is as bad as it says on ratemyprofessors. you can do it but you'll have to teach yourself everything from the book. i would strongly advise against taking math 53 with him.</p>
<p>go for hutchings- he has a good sense of humor if that helps</p>
