Math 54

<p>I'm an entering freshman materials science & engineering major. I want to take Math 54 (having taken the equivalent of math 53 at a community college and gotten an A) but I'm position 11 on the manual waitlist. I don't think I'll get into the class b/c typically you don't take Math 54 until sophomore year, and I'm not a math major. H Math 54 has timing conflicts.</p>

<p>SO...I enrolled in African American Studies 27AC as back-up to get Amer Cultures out of the way, which will leave me with only 14 units (I'm doing Asian Amer r2a, Engineerg 10, and Chem 1A also). I plan to take Math 54 in the spring.</p>

<p>Think this was a good idea?</p>

<p>Plus, can I get from North gate to wheeler hall in five minutes?</p>

<p>I think you can get from North gate to wheeler hall in five minutes if you are young and strong. I think it would take me 7 minutes. ;-)</p>

<p>No problem at all taking 54 your spring semester, I actually would recommend it, to ease into things.</p>

<p>Why would you want to make it from North Gate to Wheeler in 5 minutes? Classes do start 10 minutes past the stated time.</p>
