Math 550 - How is it?

<p>I got an email advertising the class and it sounded interesting, so I decided to try to check it out. But I don't know anyone who has taken it, the professor is not on RateMyProfessors, and I can't find any more information than what was in the email. Has anyone taken this class? How is it? The prereqs just say Calc 3, DiffEq, Linear, and Probability.</p>

<p>i heard 417 is godly easy but it’s pointless to take if youre pursuing a minor in math since engineers take calc3 and calc4. has anyone taken 454?</p>

<p>I’m not really worried about a minor in math. But 417 would count as my Advanced Math req. for ME.</p>

<p>454 sounds like the end of 286, and then continued, which sounds scary.</p>
