Math 115

I'm signed up for this course..but does anyone actually take it? I haven't talked to anyone who has taken it or seen anyone mention it on here or facebook. My advisor recommending it..but now I'm reconsidering. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

I don't know of anyone who's taken it. I think it's essentially math 114 but it ends on a nice note since it's the last math class most of the people will ever take. (IE, covers probability and linear algebra topics)

i'm taking 115 because i heard 114 is ridiculously hard.

It's not.

10 chars

The curve in 114 is definitely more harsh than in 115, for the simple reason that the people in 114 tend to be a whole lot better at math than the people who take 115. The material itself is no different between the two classes though, except for the end of 115.

114 is nothing compared to 241 -__-

I figure there's a reason though that Math 114 is a requirement for many majors with two semesters of math (including the one I'm thinking of now - biochem) - while Math 115 is not...

Still looking forward to a first semester class of everyone with 5s on BC Calc
