MATH 347 or MATH 453?

Ok, so I'm gonna be a freshman this year and I want to minor in mathematics.
I already have credit for MATH 220, 231 and 241 and I'm planning on taking MATH 285, 415 and STAT 400 and 410. This leaves me with one more class to fulfill my minor. Which would be easier to take first semester of my freshman year?

Taking homework, the toughness of the class and how interesting the subject is into account, which class would be better to take?

MATH 347 or MATH 453? Or maybe a different course? I'm open to suggestions.
I just need one more class so I can get my minor and I want to take the easiest one :)

That’s lame. Why are you minoring in math if you don’t want to learn it? If you are doing it because you think it’ll look impressive, then you’re wrong. Minors don’t impress employers.

Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE math.

But I already have a really tough first semester and I don’t want to overload myself, so I just wanted an opinion on which class would be easier to take

347 is easier from what I hear.

How is Math 487?
Its called Advanced Engineering Math

Would that be better than 347 or 453?

just take math -999 and get your minor geesh

Personally, I think you are being kind of moronic for taking 300 and 400 level math your first semester freshman year. You could make a case for 300 I guess if you were going to take diff eq or something, but some of that stuff just seems like its overkill to do your first semester on a college campus. Give yourself a break. I learned that one the hard way.

College level mathematics is so much harder compared to high school level math or AP Calculus series.
