Well I have been put in quite a difficult dilemma and would like some advice. Sorry if I might sound scatterbrained, it has been quite a torrential week. There is a special (separate) school that you can attend for just math and science and I got in my sophomore year. I attended this first week and have had a regular of 3 hours of homework just for those two classes I take there as well as being not to keen on the teachers and how they teach! My extracurriculars are extremely important to me as I practice piano for at least 2 hours a night, and take an extra class at school (having to wake up at 6 instead of 7). If I were to drop those two classes and just go to my regular high school and take the same classes would I be frowned upon in applying to the Ivy League schools? The weighting is the same. After my freshman year I had straight A's with a 4.5 average, so it is not like I am slacking. My parents are so worried that I would be looked at differently than the people that attended the specialized school. I am practically in tears, and just feel terrible. Please, please help me out.

if u transfer within the first 2 weeks, u wont be frowned upon by ivies
