Math Classes at LA colleges for high schoolers.

Hello,
Does anyone know which colleges or universities in LA allow students to take college-level math classes (Multivariable Calc, Linear Algebra, etc.) and receive credit?

Try your local community college. You will college credit if the course(s) are transferable to a 4 year university you plan to attend however, some 4 year universities may not accept the credit. If you are a CA resident, take the course at a California community college and it is UC/CSU transferable then you would get college credit for these institutions. Are you using this course for HS credit also?

@Gumbymom Hello, I am not using this course for high school credit. I want to simultaneously take AP Stats at my high school while taking multivariable calculus at a college.

Like I stated in my original post, check with your local community college. Getting college credit will depend upon which college you end up attending. You will be required to submit a transcript of the college course when applying to other colleges and it will be considered in admissions if you eventually attend a Graduate or Profession school (Medical, Dental, Pharmacy etc…) so make sure you get a very good grade (A).
Have you checked with your HIgh school counselor to see if Dual Enrollment is an option and if your HS has a DE program with your local CC?
