Math EM/Proficiency Exam?!?!

Hey everyone! So to make a long story short, I was placed in Math 1148 - College Algebra from my placement test. I’m not happy about this whatsoever. I took up to Calculus in highschool, and feel I should be in Pre-Calculus now. Even my previous teacher of 2 years agreed that I should be in Pre-Calculus, and he went to Ohio State as well. (Unfortunately the next class up is Trig so I’ll have to just deal with that one, even though I’ve done a lot of trig already.) College algebra is just too easy for me and a waste of time and I’m planning on testing out of it through the 2 hour EM/Proficiency exam. I was just wanting to know if anyone else had taken a proficiency exam for ANY math class and could tell me what it’s like and what to expect? It’s 2 hours long so that makes me wonder how many questions there might be and how hard this test is. You have to get an 80 or higher to pass, and they say only 10-20% of people pass for these exams. I just really wanna get out of this math. :frowning:
