Is AP Calc AB enough preparation to take Math II? Thanks

^ no, calculus isn't on the Math II at all. it's mostly algebra 2, precalc, and trig.

Really? I was under the impression that it was more advanced than that. Thanks for clearing that up.

^ I second that. It should only go up to Pre-Calc. That isn't to say some calculus techniques wouldn't help.

The only thing from calculus that's useful is l'hopital's rule.

There was a statistics question on my Math II test.
I knew the answer but I wasn't thinking on the test or something and I missed it.

Which isn't part of the AB calculus curriculum for some reason though its pretty straight forward. (Referring to l'hopital's rule)

There was a limits question on math ii when I took it, but you can just graph it on your calculator. I got 800 on the test, and I took it after honors precalc.

L'Hopital's isn't on AB? Heh, my calculus AB teacher taught that to us in his AB class. Hmm, I guess he overprepared us? =]

I think AP stats helps a lot more with Math 2 than does AP Calculus. Although nothing on the test isn't in Barron's math 2 book or something...

You are fully prepared. It might be a good idea to take the test as soon as possible before you forget topics that are somewhat neglected in AB (parametrics, sequences, matrices, etc.) The only topic that you may not be familiar with, depending on the school, is a "sigma" and basic statistics ideas.
