Math 2-lenient
Math 1-strict

im taking the math subject tests for the first time tommorow. how has the curve been in the past on these tests? is it fairly lenient or very strict? i know it depends on the test, but can someone give me a ballpark idea of how much the curve might be?

how lenient is math II and how tough is math I? is math I curved the same as math in the reasoning test?

Math 1 is basically -10 points for each raw point lost.

So, basically to calculate your score it's:
800 - (50-R)*10

For math 2, the calculation is:
800 - (44-R)*10

ok thank you. that helps

It's usually around 6-7 can be left blank. A tighter curve would be 5 blanks for an 800 in Math II
